Final Project
For this project you will write about an NP-complete problem, and give a presentation about the problem to the class. The paper is due Friday, December 6 and the presentations will occur during our final exam period on Thursday, December 12 at noon.
In your paper I expect you to include the following:
- A general description of the problem
- At least one real-world application of the problem
- A discussion of research surrounding the problem
- A description of a reduction from another NP-complete problem to your problem
I expect you to cite at least two scholarly publications about the problem. You may use any citation style you like, just be consistent.
Your paper should be 4-6 pages double spaced. Your presentation should be approximately 5 minutes in length.
