Downloading JFLAP
JFLAP is a freely available program that lets you build and test finite automata and other types of machines that we will look at in this class.
Download JFLAP from the JFLAP website. If you do not have Java installed you will also need to install Java, which you can get here.
Once you have Java installed you should be able to run the JFLAP7.1.jar that you downloaded. You should see the following when you start it up:
You do not need to actually do anything with JFLAP now, we will talk about how to use it in class.
